Start the Year Off Right by Joining BFC

by Beth Curry, BFC Team Lead

Are you looking to start your year off by adding fitness to your life? BFC Ministry has just the thing for you!

BFC Exercise Classes – Join us in-person or via Zoom for one of our four weekly daytime BFC (Becoming Fit at Church) exercise classes. Why is BFC Exercise different than going to the gym? BFC offers a non-intimidating atmosphere filled with FUN, FELLOWSHIP, and FITNESS (and sometimes FOOD) to help our participants become stronger, healthier, and better able to FUNCTION on a daily basis. One of the best parts – one hundred percent of all suggested donations ($3/class) go to community service locally and globally! Now in our sixteenth year, BFC has raised over $80,000. Come get fit while helping others! Classes resume Thursday January 4, 2024.

BFO Pickleball Training – NEW! On Thursday evenings, beginning January 11, BFO (Becoming Fit Outdoors) will offer a six week Pickleball Training class for beginners. Not only will participants learn how to play the game, but also what equipment to use, strategies for playing a better game AND drills and skills to prevent injury -which can be a big issue for unconditioned players. After the first six-week session the plan is to invite more seasoned players to form a Trinity Pickleball Team and engage in games with FSU Wesley students and other groups. Cost is $10 for full six-week session. Please contact Beth Curry at BFCSeries@yahoo.com if you are interested in training OR would like to be on our Trinity Pickleball Team. Space is limited for this training session, but a waiting list will be started for the next six-week session which will begin toward the end of February.

There is also other exciting news: Nursery Spots – NEW! BFC Exercise is excited to announce – On Thursday mornings a small infant/toddler/preschool nursery will now be available during the 11:00 AM Variety Mix exercise class! To reserve a spot please email Candace at cduclos@tumct.org.
